06/06/2011 It was a strange Easter...

Just a short Update this time as the Easter holidays took up much of the last month and I don’t have much to tell you. I had an opportunity to take some holiday. It was a strange Easter - so late, then as soon as we were back to school we were off again for the Royal Wedding and Bank Holiday, and now it’s almost half term!

The second of the Easter Holiday Drop-Ins went very well. We welcomed a mixture of mums with toddlers, members of our congregation and visitors. My helpers and I all felt pleased we had an open door. We will definitely run the Drop-Ins through the summer holidays.

Easter Sunday Holiday Club was a delight with a group of our congregation’s visiting grandchildren.

At Simply Pray Plus we watched some of the Alpha Course DVD featuring Nikki Gumble. It was very interesting and led to a good discussion afterwards.

Simply Pray continues each Tuesday evening at 6.30 - why not join us and see if it’s for you?

Our fellowship weekend at Treloyhan was a blessing in so many ways, but I’ll leave it to others to tell you about that.
Our thoughts were with those who would have liked to be with us but weren’t able to come for one reason or another.

With love, Deborah.
